Strategic Technology Leadership:Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's goals and objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology investments with business priorities.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.2. Salesforce Expertise:Serve as the primary Salesforce expert, overseeing the customization, integration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform.Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure the platform meets the needs of the insurance agency.Implement best practices for Salesforce data management and security.3. Team Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development for team members.Report to the CEO and actively engaged as a member of the Executive Team.Oversee the Technology Team (i.e., IT and Salesforce developer personnel).4. Technology Infrastructure Management:Manage the overall technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations.Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.5. Data Security and Compliance:Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive customer information.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to the insurance sector.6. Vendor and Budget Management:Evaluate and select technology vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.7. Project Management:Lead and oversee Salesforce and IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders.CoVerica is an equal opportunity employer.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience as a CTO or a similar executive leadership role within the insurance industry.Salesforce expertise and relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Developer).Strong understanding of insurance agency operations and technology requirements.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.Strong project management skills and experience leading complex IT projects.Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations in the insurance sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work onsite a minimum of four (4) days per week at the Dallas headquarters.
