This position provides a rare chance to contribute to groundbreaking research in tissue culture and animal work.

Position Overview:

As a Laboratory Technician specializing in tissue culture and animal work, you will be at the forefront of our ambitious project to develop a stem cell therapy for Sanfilippo syndrome, a rare disorder. This role encompasses diverse responsibilities, including tissue culture, RNA and protein analysis, and hands-on work with laboratory mice. Joining our team means being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary effort in the neuroscience field, making this an exceptional opportunity for young scientists eager to gain broad research experience.

Responsibilities:

Execute tissue culture techniques, covering cell line maintenance, propagation, and experimentation oh hESC/iPSC and differentiation into the Neural lineages.

Manage animal husbandry tasks, including the care and handling of laboratory mice.

Conduct experiments according to established protocols, ensuring precision and efficiency.

Record and analyze experimental data promptly and accurately.

Collaborate closely with research scientists to achieve project milestones.

Adhere strictly to safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.

Previous experience with tissue culture techniques is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.

Highly desirable: Experience in working with laboratory mice.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
