Interview Process
The interview process for this position will consist of three phases. Applicants who complete the
application
process and meet the position minimum requirements will be invited to interview in phase 1. Candidates will be notified of their status after each phase to confirm if they are moving forward in the selection process.
Phase 1: 30-minute interview with the search committee
Phase 2: 30-minute interview with the search committee (different questions will be asked), 30-minute written exercise; 30-minute presentation with the Office of College Advancement team
Phase 3: 30-minute interview with the vice president of college advancement
Job Summary: This position serves as the coordinator for assigned community partnerships. Serving as a community liaison, the community engagement coordinator will work with organizations to develop partnerships that align with HACC's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Attend community events hosted by HACC's strategic partners
Coordinate Community Impact Advisory Coalition membership and meetings
Facilitate HACC's involvement in strategic partnerships
Coordinate HACC's memberships in community organizations
Manage the community engagement-related budget allocation
Coordinate the event sponsorship program
Plan community events at HACC's campuses
Use social media to promote HACC's community engagement initiatives
Prepare presentations and reports
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience or equivalency in business development, community engagement, relationship management and/or results-driven field, two years of relevant experience in customer relationship management or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Licensing Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Hiring Range:
$51,488 - $65,648
