We are currently seeking an accomplished and versatile

Project Manager

to join our team, focusing on various strategic projects within our dynamic organization. This role will initially involve overseeing a Facility Relocation project, with a transition to other business development projects in the future. To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional project management skills, business acumen, and a proven track record in navigating complex, cross-functional environments.Specific Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute a relocation strategy aligned with the organization's needs.Monitor adherence to project milestones, timelines, and budget constraints.Select and manage vendors for relocation services, ensuring timely and quality delivery.Collaborate with stakeholders for effective communication and alignment throughout the process.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the relocation.Lead end-to-end project management of strategic, high-profile projects in various business development areas.Work with stakeholders and external partners to develop comprehensive project plans.Maintain transparent communication through various mediums, providing regular updates and leading status meetings.Identify, assess, and develop mitigation plans for events that could impact project success.Manage project budgets, tracking actuals and understanding variances.Provide project management support for strategic partnerships, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Lead company-wide initiatives integral to fulfilling the organization's strategic plan.Offer ongoing business leadership and guidance throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.Provide PM coaching and mentoring as part of our commitment to a global project management culture.Troubleshoot and implement corrective action plans for critical projects and initiatives.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a scientific field.Master’s degree is preferred (MBA, MS).Formal PM certification is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.Global, cross-functional team leadership experience.Proven ability to identify and manage project risks.Experience working in a PMO function is a plus.Leadership, effective communication, and negotiation skills.Attention to detail – ability to work with a large amount of content and ability to consolidate and simplify to drive clarity.Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.Commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.Proactive project risk identification and management.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).The Nuts and Bolts

Location

– This is an “in-office” position approximately 75% of the time at our HQ office in Boulder, Colorado with the other 25% work from home. These percentages are estimates with the actual schedule to be determined dynamically as needed to support business priorities. Relocation may be offered for this role.2024 Benefits At-a-Glance

$85,000 - $130,000 depending upon experience.How We Determine What We Pay (compensation Philosophy)

Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.For new hires, we try to make competitive offers between the minimum and around the midpoint of the range. This allows the new employee room for future merit increases during review cycles. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills.
