** Counter Exchanger Checker Processor****Department of the Treasury**This position is located in the Office of Currency Manufacturing. As a Counter Exchanger Checker Processor, you will be responsible for providing accountability of exchanged and mutilated sheets, notes, and securities; replacement of currency on assigned equipment; and works as a part of a team responsible for operating shrink wrapping machines; packaging equipment; and material movement of finished currency via forklifts and other motorized equipment as directed by management.**Location**4 vacancies in the following location:+ ** Clarification from the agency**U.S. citizens or U.S. Nationals; no prior Federal experience is required.**Duties**As a Counter Exchanger Checker Processor, you will:* Utilize physical inventory count to ensure accountability of sheets, notes or securities.* Physically examine products for imperfections and remove or replace in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and/or other guidance documents applicable to the specified area.* Organize work areas and vaults utilizing manual or electric pallet jacks.* Issue perfect sheets to the presspersons on loose receipt at the beginning of shift and during the shift respond to requests by Presspersons to exchange mutilated sheets with replacement stock.* Receive daily shipping orders from supervisors. Pick up proper loads to prepare for shipment, breaking down original loads and shipment of orders by proper bank denomination, series, number of packages (Cash-Paks), numerical sequence and destination label.**Requirements**** Conditions of Employment****Physical Requirements:*** Ability to visually detect errors;* Long periods of standing and sitting in one location;* Frequent lifting with hand, arms, fingers, wrists, and at times using back and legs when lifting loads weighing approximately 70 pounds, with the assistance of equipment or a partner and 50lbs individually, on and off of conveyer equipment or when lifting loads weighing approximately 800 pounds with trucks, manual or electric.**AND**You must show in your experience in online application that you possess the knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the duties of the position.The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or .
