Senior Client Service Associate Job Description

MISSION

Founded in 1989, Burton Enright Welch (BEW) is an independent, fee-only financial planning and investment management firm in Walnut Creek, CA with $1 billion + in assets under management.

The Senior Client Service Associate is one of the firm's most experienced Client Services team member. The Senior Associate's primary focus is to manage the day to day operations and provide support to junior associates in all matters pertaining to client relations and account administration. The Senior Associate assists junior associates in developing and nurturing client relationships through training. The Senior Associate continuously assesses current processes and suggests or implements process changes to improve the team's overall efficiency. The Senior Associate is readily accessible to the junior associates for any issues requiring escalation or expertise.

The Senior Client Service Associate requires attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently. As a team player, the Senior Associate should be able to think outside the box, readily take initiative and easily adopt in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

The Senior Client Service Associate works side-by-side with the Client Services Team to achieve the firm's goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary contact for client onboarding, account administration, technology, phone support and scheduling.Maintain and monitor internal databases and electronic files consistent with BEW policies and procedures.Manage projects and oversee team members' assigned tasks.Continue to develop technical knowledge and expertise in all areas of Client Services through internal training.Be a specialist in Client Service roles.Serve as a backup for team member outages.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

A Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred or related work experience4-6 years in Client Services RoleClient service experience a mustSubject matter expert in account administration a mustExperience working with CRM systems and various custodial platforms a mustStrong leadership and management experience a plusInvestments and financial planning experience a plusSeries 65 or FPQP certification a plusExperience with sourcing candidates and interviewing a plusSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
