Job Description

General Responsibilities: This position will be a key player in the KNBC and KVEA Finance Department. Successful candidates will have an established background in accounting or finance, a strong analytic foundation, and an aptitude to maintain responsibility for a broad range of evolving priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Compile financial information, record journal entries, and prepare variance analysesAnalyze trends and develop financial models to support strategic initiativesForecast operating expenses for budget and pacing purposesPrepare quarterly account reconciliationsManage capital budget, pacing, and inventoryAct as liaison between centralized Accounts Payable Team and Station ManagementFacilitate cooperative advertising reimbursementsAct as T&E administrator; manage monthly T&E internal auditManage monthly PCard internal auditMaintain operating expense contracts, renewals, and terminationsOversee vehicle fleet managementMaintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and proceduresAssist Finance Department with any adhoc research and reporting projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required; accounting emphasis preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of accounting or finance experienceExpertise in Excel, Word, and Power Point

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
