We are rebuilding the healthcare system by cutting costs, confusion, and complexity through direct contracts and payment with providers, deep data dives, and convenient patient care.We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join Patient's Choice Home Health Care, a subsidiary of Nomi Health, in Miami, Florida. You will contribute by overseeing the delivery of all home health care services to include professional nursing, therapy, and non-skilled services. Under the supervision of the Administrator, the DON directs and evaluates the activities of the clinical area.

The DON/Clinical Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all personnel and patient care services provided by the agencyEnsures compliance with all state and federal regulationsResponsible for establishing and conducting an ongoing quality assurance programOversees all QAPI activities and participates in all activities relevant to the professional services furnishedIdentifies and evaluates potential needs and resources in relation to community health and the agency policies and programsResponsible for monitoring the performance and professional standards of all nursing personnel and home health aides in so far as meeting agency requirementsAssists in the development of the policies, programs, and functions of the agency as they relate to all home health servicesResponsible for scheduling and seeing that case conferences and team conferences are properly and periodically conductedParticipates in the review, analysis, and appraisal of effectiveness of the total Agency programDefines, allocates, and supervises responsibilities within the province of nursingDefines and prepares job classifications and job descriptions of nursing service personnel and qualifications within the nursing programProvides leadership in promoting and maintaining standards for good quality nursing care by all members of the nursing teamProvides for continuing evaluation of the nursing and aide staffParticipates in periodic meetings with the administrator to ensure optimum communication interdepartmentally and to discuss any mutual or Agency problemsParticipates in all agency’s in-service programsResponsible for conferring with the administrator in the scheduling of monthly educational programsMaintains and updates Disaster PlanDON/Clinical Manager is available at all times during operating business hours either onsite or by telecommunicationReports any suspected violations of Privacy Practice to Privacy Official as soon as breach/possible breach is identifiedWhat we are looking for
Bilingual (English/Spanish)Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing programMust have an Active FL RN LicenseMust have a minimum 1 year of DON experience in a Medicare certified home health agencyCurrent CPR CertificationDriven, highly organized, and detail orientedExcellent clinical and critical thinking skillsDedicated and passionate about healthcare and quality outcomesContinually strives to broaden and deepen knowledge through formal education, conferences, and active participation in professional and related organizationsExcellent understanding of OASIS, Medicare guidelines, and PDGMTravel is required by carStand/walk for a long period of timeAbility to communicate well, both verbally and in writingCurrent Driver’s License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
