Do you love scripting and building automation?
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with a wide range of IT and Managed Service Providers (MSP) experience to lead a small team; building our out of the box scripting solutions for our IT Operations suite of software. As our Technical Product Manager responsible for our automation tools, you will be at the intersection of product strategy, team management, and hands-on development. You will manage our out-of-the-box scripting team, and the solutions you build will be used by thousands of customers. Your contributions will impact the baseline IT standards of companies around the world, driving product vision and ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional technical solutions to NinjaOne’s clients.

ME . We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, and this role is 100% work from home.
What You’ll Be Doing
Product Management:
Define and set the strategy and roadmap for the out-of-the-box scripting team. Interface with clients, sales, and marketing to align product offerings with market needs. Act as a bridge between the technical and non-technical teams, translating customer needs into actionable development plans. Collaborate closely with our RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) team and the wider community in all areas scripting.Engineering Management:
Oversee the entire out-of-the-box scripting team, enabling and assisting the team on a day-to-day basis while ensuring a positive and productive team environment. Guide the team in best practices, ensure quality deliverables, and facilitate professional growth.Development:
Dive into hands-on scripting tasks using PowerShell and Shell scripting. Collaborate with your team to build content in the form of scripts, monitoring conditions, and baseline standards. Create ad hoc scripts and automations for NinjaOne prospects and existing clients.
About You
5+ years of experience in a technical role involving Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.3+ years of experience in PowerShell or Shell scripting.2+ years previous leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams.Stakeholder management abilities and a knack for juggling multiple priorities.Expertise of the IT infrastructure and managed services stack.Experience with challenges faced by IT teams, especially regarding security, and the knowledge to set up secure baselines for Windows, Mac, and Linux devices.Experience with source control and interactions with REST APIs.

Additional Information
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $160,000 per year.
