Responsibilities:
The Endocrinology NP / PA will:
Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patientsPerform procedural care, assessment, and treatment of acute injuries, infections, illnesses, asthma care. etc.Prescribe and interprets appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalitiesKeep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services renderedPrepare and reviews reports, claims, and correspondenceEnsure that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulationsPrescribe medication and treatment for the patientRecommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygienePerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
1+ year of Endocrinology experienceNYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
