As part of an entrepreneurial platform team in a rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of our value-based care platform. You will facilitate business and platform transformation while playing a key role in understanding the needs of our customers. You’ll leverage your cloud computing expertise along with deep technical knowledge packaging together with the full scope of Cloud horizontal and vertical-specific products to create a compelling digital experience for our members, clinicians, and clients.

This role also leads, and actively participates in, the design and hands-on development of incubation and innovation projects including prototyping, proofs-of-concept, new enterprise technology components, and the delivery of products to market.

Responsibilities

Leads solution design for multiple teams and development and performance evaluation providing comprehensive design guidance.

Create own design proposals and review, improve, and approve design proposals of others; ensure alignment to Enterprise Architecture Design Principles

Proposes and develops solution area architecture designs and blueprints while ensuring alignment to the architecture design principles and technology strategies.

Ensure designs are being implemented properly; Drives solution-specific technology assessments & decisions

Leads solution architecture development across the enterprise, providing strategic technology guidance to all functional areas

Able to design end-to-end solutions that meet performance, scalability, security, regulatory compliance, and resiliency requirements across the platform

Work with multiple stakeholders to develop modern, high-performing, cloud-native software architectures. The nature of these projects will vary from enterprise platform component development to new product development and existing product re-platforming initiatives to cloud-native architectures.

Drive incubation and innovation projects including the prototyping and development of proofs-of-concept and delivery of new technology components and products to market.

Provide hands-on engineering support including software development/coding, 3rd party tool analysis, provisioning, and configuration.

Development of enterprise architectural patterns that define best practices for software design and development as well as recommended use of enterprise technologies and services.

Qualifications

MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience

8 + years of experience working as a Software Architect developing platforms or digital experiences

10 + years of recent experience with hands-on coding (modern programming)

Expert solution design skills and understands enterprise scalable architecture design principles

Experience with UI frameworks, including but not limited to angular 7.0+, REACT js

Experience with messaging solutions

10+ years of solid development experience on distributed platforms and Cloud platforms.

Experience in full lifecycle system development: architecture, design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade, and support

Proven experience driving the definition and implementation of an Enterprise-level Architectural Strategy and Roadmap for a mid to large-sized product/platform organization.

Experience leading in an Agile/Lean environment and experience with widely adopted Agile/Lean frameworks.

Ability to communicate software engineering concepts effectively and clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Experienced at modernizing legacy systems including the technical and change management aspects that accompany transformative change.

Deep expertise in modern UI/UX, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.

Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.

Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills, project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.

A strong solution orientation with a penchant for not only identifying problems but also finding ways of solving them within typical business constraints.

Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals.
