A manufacturing services company in California is currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their staff as their new Senior Financial Analyst / FP&A Manager. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst / FP&A Manager will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting, budgeting, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst / FP&A Manager will:Consolidate and analyze financial data from various sources, such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholdersDevelop and maintain financial models, projections, and scenarios to support strategic planning and decision makingPerform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementConduct market and industry research and benchmarking to evaluate the company's performance and competitivenessProvide financial guidance and support to various departments and projects, such as sales, marketing, operations, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and alignmentPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Financial AnalystBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and/or a related fieldExperience with financial software and systems, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Knowledge of HVAC products and services, market trends, and industry best practices
