Maintenance Manager Job description - Manufacturing
This is a critical role leading the Maintenance function for a tire manufacturing plant in Mesa, AZ. The Maintenance Manager is responsible to ensure their team complies with all safety procedures and continuously improve site safety. This position also seeks to continually improve the reliability, and efficiency of plant mechanical rotating and fixed equipment. Using a variety of tools, technology and experience, the maintenance manager is expected to enhance the company's approach to predictive and preventative maintenance in our chemical processing environment. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing the department CapEx and OpEx budgets and working in those budgets to achieve the company goals and objectives.
Overseeing maintenance systems and strategy for entire site in a chemical manufacturing environmentPerform failure analysis and root cause analysisPlanning and scheduling all maintenance activities including shutdowns to ensure reliable operationsEnsuring all compliance-based inspections are completed and documented.Managing all project work as dictated by the needs of the research effortManage Maintenance Team (Millwright and IE&C)Mechanical Engineering efforts for new processesParticipate and lead in cross functional and international teams
Non-negotiable requirements of this position
Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical Engineering or related field 10 years of experience working in a Chemical processing plant Experience working with flammable materials Managing maintenance personnel who have rotating equipment experience (Millwrights, IE&C) What are the nice-to-have skills? Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, rotating equipment and mechanical systems. Excellent Leadership skills Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis Experience developing and managing CapEx and OpEx budgets
