Oversees a particular recruitment territory assigned by management. Travels to certain markets as assigned, doing school presentations, attending college fairs and other activities. Manages all files from this territory from prospects to enrolled students.Manages a recruitment territory or special population. This may include managing the planning and participation in recruitment events; giving presentations to groups; meeting with constituents; providing advice about college planning and the application process; support ancillary services such as financial aid, scholarships and advising.Oversees expansion of undergraduate and graduate student pipelines.Participates in all major recruitment events (i.e. college fairs, on and off campus events, and visits) of assigned territories or populations. Maintains close contact with prospective students via telephone calls, e-mail and other types of correspondence. Abides by university policies and procedures when it comes to travel and the use of university budget and materials. Overnight and weekend travel may be required.Takes on additional assignments such as: working reception in the front lobby, tele-counseling, hosting virtual events, and participation in on-campus visitation programs.Serves as liaison between University administrators, students, parents and faculty regarding admissions activities. Interprets policies and procedures for University personnel, high school guidance counselors, community college counselors and prospective students and other constituents.Participates in regional and national associations for college admissions and recruitment; adheres to professional ethics, state regulations and national policy as it relates to the university, student records, new student recruitment, US immigration and college admissions.Advise applicants about state residency, visa types and immigration policies for studying in the US.Assists in the strategic efforts to recruit and retain student populations as outlined in the university strategic plan.Develops and implements diversity, equity and inclusion recruitment initiatives for assigned population.Performs other related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's and 2 (two) years of experience OR Master's Degree.Desired Qualifications

Experience with admissions processes.Experience working in higher education.Experience and/or knowledge of advanced features in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience working with PeopleSoft.Job Category
