The Immigration Advocates Network (IAN), a program of Pro Bono Net, expands access to immigration legal resources and information through collaboration and technology. We create our own tools, build platforms for others, and work with partners to harness the power of technology and collective action to better support immigrants and their advocates.Position:IAN seeks a Program Associate for Citizenshipworks, a free multi-lingual online tool that helps people apply for citizenship. The position requires experience in community outreach, strategic partnerships, technology and training, and familiarity with immigration issues. This is a full-time position, with excellent benefits, including 4 weeks paid vacation, flexible scheduling, and the option to work remotely. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000.Responsibilities:Promote and facilitate adoption of our online citizenship application tool to nonprofit organizationsProvide remote and on-site training and support to project partners, especially in the city and state of New YorkLead our work with the New York Office of New Americans, including outreach, program coordination, and trainings on Citizenshipworks (25%)Respond to technical inquiries from partner organizations and questions from public users (25% or more)Cultivate new community partners that serve immigrants, including libraries, schools, public service, religious and other charitable organizationsLiaise with national, regional and local stakeholders to understand common issues and to share new features and best practicesAssist with resource development and grant reporting, as neededQualifications:B.A. degree or equivalentThree or more years nonprofit work experienceLived or worked experience with immigrants or immigrant-serving organizationsA high level of comfort with technology and related problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Zendesk or other enterprise customer service softwareTraining, technical support and/or mentoring experienceFamiliarity with immigration law and forms is helpfulAbility to travel (up to 10% per year)Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with a dynamic team and network of partnersHow to Apply:Send a resume and a brief cover letter to jobs@probono.net, with "Citizenshipworks Program Associate" in the subject line.
