Optumcare Nevada is a multi-specialty group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants consisting of over 300 providers, fourteen clinical locations including nine health care centers, five urgent care clinics and an outpatient surgery center. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with patients, their family members, healthcare providers, and office staff while providing high quality direct patient care in a clinic setting. Primary Responsibilities:
Rapidly formulate a differential diagnosis from assessments conducted within the clinic settingDevelop and implement treatment plans for patients assigned within the primary care teamDevelop and actualize plans for the primary care team as assignedProvide guidance to nursing personnel towards treatment plans and care issuesDocument treatment plans in the medical recordCollaborate with physician and documents physician guidance as neededCoordinate care for patientsExposure to patients with potential infectious disease
We offer an attractive base salary, $20,000 sign on bonus, bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, STD / LTD, professional liability, matching 401K, relocation costs, three weeks paid vacation, one week paid CME with $2500 allowance, and eight paid holidays.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience (preferred), or completed SMA internship or SMA RN experience or Foreign Medical Doctor experience may be consideredDEA License required, or ability to obtainAdvanced Nurse Practitioner Certification in Primary Care, Geriatric, Adult or Physician Assistant certification, or ability to obtainActive unrestricted APRN or PA-C license in Nevada, or ability to obtainMust be willing to work in underserved areaAbility to communicate with patients, primary care team members and management staffAbility to make care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physicianBasic technical proficiency in the use of computer programs for medical records or internet search for clinical practiceAdvanced assessment and treatment plan implementation skillsAbility to complete clinical care lifting in a provider office environment

Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Nevada residents is $85,000 to $167,300.
