A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a new, licensed Gastroenterologist for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Manhattan. In this role, the Gastroenterologist will be providing for high-quality clinical care to the patients in the diverse communities that served.

Including bonuses, total compensation could equate up to $600k
Responsibilities:The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for:
Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of GastroenterologyPrescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injuryExplaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patientsMonitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessaryProviding health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease preventionMaintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test resultsReferring patients to other medical specialists, when necessaryProviding compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concernsPreparing official health documents or records, when necessaryParticipating in network activities, such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessionsPerforming other related duties, as assignedQualifications:Completion of Internal Residency, Gastroenterology Fellowship and Board / Eligible CertifiedLicensed to practice Medicine in the State of New YorkDEA licenseBilingual (English and Cantonese or Mandarin)Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)Solid problem solving and time management skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedYour privacy is important to us.
