We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:Build state-of-the-art mobile and desktop web software applications and/or systemsFollow high-quality design and implementation practicesImplement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing productsContribute to Snap’s engineering culture by working on shared libraries and systemsLog and analyze operational and engagement metrics

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Highly proficient in JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSSHighly proficient in Java, Golang, NodeJs, and/or PythonExperience developing front-end software using JavaScript UI Frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Vue)Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principlesUnderstanding of domain-driven design principlesSolid knowledge of unit testingExperience in front-end design and/or web application developmentWriting code for User Interface componentsExperience optimizing JavaScript performance and browser layout rendering

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent years of experience3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer

Preferred Qualifications:MS degree in a technical fieldExperience with WebGL, Canvas, WebAssembly, Service workers, or other advanced front-end technologyExperience with GraphQLExperience with large-scale microservices and distributed systemsExperience with NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS servicesAbility to identify and resolve performance and scalability issuesPassion for building a rich and innovative user experience

Compensation:

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $165,000-$230,000 annually.

Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$219,000 annually.

Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$196,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
