This role will work closely with the Group VP, Futures & AI to oversee and implement the company’s data strategy, leading analytics initiatives, and helping the data science and AI team in driving the adoption of AI technologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, establish best practices, and foster innovation to maximize the value derived from data, analytics and AI-driven solutions.Core AccountabilitiesI. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the company's and clients objectives to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation.Lead a team of analysts, and data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Collaborate with department heads, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data, analytics, and AI to solve complex business challenges.Establish and implement data governance, privacy, and security practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and AI-powered solutions to derive actionable insights and create business value.Oversee the design and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for handling large volumes of data.II. Internal Thought LeadershipContinuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.Champion a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and providing training and resources across the organization.Work closely with the data scientist and innovation lead on A.I. and machine learning initiatives.Act as our resident data and analytics expert, track competitive and marketplace activities, conduct competitive reviews, identify and communicate implications for the client and other client stakeholder teams.Stay current and connected to cultural and marketing trends.Document everything thoroughly and elegantly.Create and maintain library of case studies, insights, trends and best practices.Contribute to agency new business projects as needed.Core SkillsDeep expertise in developing and executing data and analytic strategies, including experience with data governance, data quality, and data security.Strong understanding of statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate.Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights and strategies for non-technical stakeholders.Strong business acumen and the ability to align data and AI initiatives with business goals and ROI.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal skills, including the ability to prepare summaries and present to agency teams.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.Proven track record (7-10+) years of leadership experience in data management and analytics within a corporate environment.Any media, digital media or eCommerce analytics experience a plus.Strong analytical and intuitive skills.Strong knowledge of computers and computer sciences.Collaborative and a good team player.A self-starter that likes to get things done, learn by doing, and show initiative.Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and still stay organized.Positive and professional: takes ownership of tasks and willingly takes on new responsibilities.Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeJob StatusOPEN*TPN is an equal opportunity employer.
