Prytania Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, growing, and independently owned practice located in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are seeking a talented Associate Veterinarian with experience preferred to join our 6-doctor practice. We recently moved into an ultramodern 10,000-square-foot veterinary hospital in the historic Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans, which borders Audubon Park and the Mississippi River. Our neighborhood features a wealth of restaurants, shopping, and relaxation options with loads to do while enjoying your life OUTSIDE of work.

While our practice is mostly dogs and cats, you are welcome to see and treat other species if that is your area of interest. We mean it when we tell our clients that their pets are family and we’re committed to exceptional care and education.
The successful candidate will:
have (or be able to obtain) a current LA State Veterinary License in good standing
be DEA Licensed/eligible
communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clientele
have a commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the Veterinary Code of Ethics.
