Senior Software Engineer (Python, Django)

An award-winning IoT green energy company is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. This is a key hire that will help build a platform that brings open source distributed artificial intelligence to the edge of the electric grid to accelerate decarbonization and better serve people. Must Haves

5+ years of professional experience programming with Python and Django or FlaskStrong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous network communication, including REST APIs and distributed messaging systemsWell versed in Docker containerizationExperience working within a live production AWS environment (Lambdas, DNS, SQS, SNS, ECS, EKS, S3, etc)Understanding of PostgreSQL or similar (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, etc)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with data science, machine learning, and/or software-based models and simulations of physical systemsData engineering experience including batch, stream processing, and data transformationInterest in working within IoT or green energy mission-oriented domains
