Our Controllership team is expanding! Reporting to our Director, Assistant Controller, we are seeking a Manager of Corporate Accounting to join our Controllership group.Location:

FabFitFun is based in the Greater Los Angeles area in West Hollywood, CA. This role will be expected to work in a hybrid environment and be onsite 3 days a week.

This position is not eligible for remote.What You’ll Do:

Responsible for efficient day-to-day operations within the general ledger accounting function through management of standardized, continuously improving processes.Supervises and leads monthly close process, while ensuring relevant KPIs are achieved, such as time to close and number of post close adjustments.Standardize closing procedures to streamline training and create redundancy within the organization.Direct supervisory organization includes revenue to accounts receivable to cash, inventory and cost of goods sold, operating expenses/ accruals, fixed asset/ lease accounting, and financing (including debt).Responsible for the timely completion of the monthly reconciliation process.Assist the Corporate Controller and senior finance leadership advance the organization’s strategic objectives.Lead, motivate, mentor, and retain a best in-class accounting team (will oversee two Senior Accountants).Coordinate with various system integration/improvement projects with the data engineering, data analytics, and project management teams.Support the annual financial statement audit (and other audits), including audit planning, preparing support, and implementing ongoing process improvements.Responsible for compliance with internal control requirements.Monitor and provide monthly commentary on budget/ forecast versus actual variances.Monitor business KPIs including company performance against bank covenants, contribution margin, gross margin, ARPU, and AOV.What You’ll Bring:

BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent field, CPA strongly preferred.6+ years of relevant accounting experience at a large private or public company.Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with NetSuite, including multi-book.Experience with inventory/cost accounting (including weighted average costing).Proven ability to work independently, execute well and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Detail oriented and a quick learner.Ability to think critically and research ad-hoc technical accounting issues.Strong analytical skills.Management experience including delivering timely feedback.Expertise in US GAAP and ability to research and interpret technical accounting guidance.Preferred Experience:

Public accounting firm (Big 4) experience.Startup, E-Commerce / subscription business experience.Apparel manufacturing or retail experience.Experience with Tableau, or other BI systems.International accounting and multi-entity accounting, including elimination, consolidation, and foreign exchange.The expected base salary range for this position is $120-140K and eligible for an annual bonus. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications.
