8Flow is looking for a backend engineer team lead to join the founding team and help build the initial product. Our ideal hire will have a strong desire to work at a startup and shape the vision of the company together with us. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering on creating a high-performant and reliable backend.What You Will Do
Help define the technical architecture and develop the product end-to-endProvide expertise in backend architecture and best practicesWork with the team to help design the product iteratively to achieve high velocityExplore new product development areas driven by a strategic understanding of the user's landscape.Take ownership and drive initiatives for segments within the productRequired Experience
5+ years of experience building scalable and performant backend systemsStrong experience with Backend technologies, NodeJs, Python, Docker, Terraform, Serverless deployment5+ years in a cloud-based ecosystem such as Google Cloud (Preferred), AWS, or AzureExperience solving complex technical challengesExperience with developing data-intensive applications and building data pipelinesExperience designing data models and data warehouses and using SQL and NoSQL database management systemsDegree in Computer Science or relevant fieldExperience developing in an Agile environment is a plusExperience with Terraform and CI/CD a big plusTo Be the Best Fit, You Need to Have
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDeep understanding of technologyProven record of shipping features on time and on budgetFlexible and focussed on solutionsOrganized and self-sufficientPassion for developing technical solutionsHow to Apply
