• Drive applied research in the area of next generation communication and sensing systems• Design and develop innovative intelligent wireless solutions with focus on advanced signal processing and AI/ML.• Design and develop software to implement proof of concept prototypes.• Conduct performance analysis and feasibility studies using simulations, experiments, analytical modeling.• Closely monitor state-of-the-art developments in academia, industry, and standardization activities (e.g. ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB,etc.)• Present results to management and others in organization.• Develop and drive innovative ideas from scouting to projects• Publish research work in the form of patents and conference/journal publications• Work in a highly diverse, international, and cross disciplinary environment.Qualifications
Basic QualificationsPhD in Computer Science or Electrical EngineeringExperience in wireless communication, signal processing and machine learning.Experience in wireless sensing techniques: RSSI, ToF, CSI, CIRExperienced in using different machine learning libraries and tools (e.g. TensorFlow)Experience with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11x, 802.15.4, BLE)Preferred QualificationsStrong C and Python programming skillsEmbedded programming experience is a big plusExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAdditional Information
