PotomacWave is looking for a Government Contracts Administrator to join our corporate team in Alexandria, VA! This opportunity allows for telework.
The Government Contracts Administrator works with both external and internal clients regarding contractual matters and with senior leadership to monitor progress of contract revenue, costs and overall profitability. This position will perform administration of prime and subcontracts, generation and negotiation of subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and teaming agreements.
Responsibilities : Correspond with internal and external customers and subcontractors in a timely, professional manner. Reviews prime contracts, modifications, subcontracts, NDAs, and Teaming Agreements and makes recommendations to management. Serve as the point of contact for customers and subcontractors on contractual matters.
Act as contractual liaison between company and customers, ensuring timely review and approval, reconciliation of variations. Drafting, evaluation and negotiation of NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, and modifications. Contract set-up and administration of all prime contracts and subcontracts. Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies. Actively represent Contracts at both internal and external meetings. Receive, log, process, and maintain contract files in accordance with company policies and procedures. Enter contracts into Deltek. Prepare weekly and monthly reports. Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility, awareness, and interpretation to support implementation. Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.). Work with senior leadership to monitor contract budget, costs, and overall profitability progress on each contract. Performance of special assignments as directed, all in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Work closely with Finance and Program Management teams. Support other departments, as directed. Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree Three or more (3+) years of Federal Government Contracting Demonstrates detailed and extensive technical expertise and application of government and commercial contract administration principles, concepts, and practices as well as comprehensive contract/subcontract management and leadership skills Extensive experience with contract negotiation Experience with all contract types Experience with Deltek In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Candidate must understand the broader impact of work on the company, be able to resolve complex contracts issues and advise management on contractual rights and obligations Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Must be able to work in a team and as an individual Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced, fast changing environment Ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure Ability to be proactive, resourceful, efficient, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Flexibility and maturity are a must Equal Opportunity Employer/Race/Sex/Religion/Disability/Veteran Status/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Age.
