This role will lead our Business Analysts who support the Connected Solutions Group. This role has a passion for process, quality, leadership and collaboration. The person in this role will also work closely with cross-functional leaders and continuously improve the Chamberlain Requirements gathering, documentation and communication practices. This is a people and influential leadership position that will require influencing and driving processes and process improvements for the exciting and dynamic IoT, home automation field.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee requirements gathering, documentation and communication processes in use by Business Analysts

Ensure process implementation is consistent across all scrum teams

Update processes based on business needs and collaborate with leaders in Product Management, Engineering, QA and Technical Customer Support to ensure processes are working, evolving and delivering high quality products

Responsible for complying with the security requirements set forth by the Information Security team and the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities Document found in the ISMS Document Library

Identify opportunities to improve Agile business processes, and champion current Agile practices across the organization

Contribute to Executive Leadership reporting efforts on a monthly basis

Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Supervision Experience:

Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members

Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors (IT, MIS, Science Degree or equivalent) or equivalent experience / certifications

6+ years experience in complex Agile Environments

Experience working in Agile and Waterfall organizations, preferably in hybrid Agile – Waterfall methodology

Able to travel up to 5% of the time domestically and internationally

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to influence and drive change to peers, leaders and individual contributors

Experience leading on and offshore teams

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to work effectively in a team

Excellent people leader who knows how to bring out the best in staff

Strong commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Results-oriented, self-motivated and quick-learner

Strong working through conflicts, mediating and driving teams from storming to performing

Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and other project tracking software

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment

Preferred Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree (IT, MIS, Science Degree or equivalent)

CSPO / ACSPO

10+ years experience as a Business Analyst / People Management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of IoT systems

Agile and Waterfall Experience / Atlassian Tools
