Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Water Resources Group. The candidate will work exclusively on hydrology & hydraulics modeling, stormwater management design, Flood Hazard Area and Dam Safety Permitting.Responsibilities:Support and/or lead stormwater management projects focused on green infrastructure and low impact development as well as stormwater infrastructure improvementsPerform hydrologic/hydraulic analysesDesign Stormwater Management BMPsSWPPP preparationWater quality compliance calculationsSoil erosion and sediment controlPerform flood studies with HEC-RAS, USEPA-SWMMDam assessments and rehabilitation design.Dam breach analysis and hazard classificationFlood Hazard Area and Dam Safety permittingAssisting other departments with engineering and technical support needsReport and proposal writingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringIdeally will possess 5+ years of related water resources experiencePE preferredKnowledge of state regulations (NJ at a minimum)Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading and other site development related designsDemonstrated Civil 3D skillsAbility to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilitiesAbility to work independently, as well as, in a team environmentWhat We Offer:Compensation: $105,000-$135,000 DOQAt Colliers Engineering & Design, our people are our most important resource.
