Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this position you will be performing "Personal Care Services" or “Hands On Services” and "Companionship Services" for elderly, ill, disabled, and recuperating clients; for example, assistance with bathing & dressing, feeding, toileting, meal preparation, vital sign checks, light housekeeping, medication reminders, loving companionship, and transportation/ errands.ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily living activitiesAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesProvide adjunct patient careMonitor food intake Monitor vital signsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals QualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDValid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of GA or have a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate w/ GAACP (which is recognized as a suitable training program per state regulations and DCH- Thrive provides this training if needed)Positive previous work experience verified by providing a 5yrs employment history if person has not been employed 5yrs.Pass a criminal background check Submit to random drug screeningHave no history of abuse or neglectFirst aid and CPR-certifiedNegative TB skin test resultsBasic smartphone or computer/tablet skillsAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesInteractive/Social personalityAbility to lift heavy objectsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation w/ proof of insuranceProfessional appearance (well groomed, wear scrubs, and short nails)Compassionate, respectful, ethical
