Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.
The Sales Coordinator at BlueOval SK will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Blue Oval is seeking a Sales Coordinator who has experience reading customer forecast through the EDI system. The incumbent will be in charge of handling and coordinating customer forecast for on time delivery.
Could read and receive customer forecast through the EDI system information flow protocols
Managing the shared data forecast for on-timely delivery, shipping info (ASN) of the battery parts to the customer plant from our manufacturing site
Create and process daily sales orders, and organize daily report of confirmed quantity and actual shipped quantity
Work and communicate on a daily basis with our manufacturing sites’ Production, Logistics, and coordinate customer on supply plan based on the forecast and delivery schedule
Manage Account Receivable (AR) / Account Payable(AP) to make sure there are no discrepancies between shipped quantity
Daily communication with respective Customer
Prepare and support meeting on site and conference call related to demand, sales, and project timeline
Effectively communicate with MP&L and centralized sales team to align production and shipping plan
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business related subject, SCM major preferred
3~4 years or above experience in EDI and SCM related handling
Proficient in SAP and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Verbal / Written Communication Skills
Fast learner about products, the state-of-the-art technologies, also adopt well to company culture and process
Strong multi-tasking, self-initiative, attention to detail, proactive
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in Battery and (or) automotive industry (or relevant industries) is a plus
