Job Summary
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and proactive Knowledge Management Specialist who will provide support for national-level cybersecurity collaboration efforts.
Job Responsibilities:• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) strategies.• Apply expertise in KM tools and deploy information management and content management strategies and experience.• Comprehend and recognize key barriers to KM behavioral change and develop effective change management programs.• Analyze business processes, interview stakeholders, and evaluate strategic and IT plans to develop KM programs.• Develop KM governance structures and processes for implementing KM programs and systems and provide consulting thought leadership on current best practices in KM, portal design, and intellectual capital and content management.• Collaborate with and support the Implementation Team to tune and evolve our Knowledge Base.• Create training material in support of the Knowledge management process.
Required Skills:• Ability to easily communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, and confidently discuss project status and propose solutions• Ability to work with clients to develop clear expectations, roles, and requirements for short and long-term projects• Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Desired Skills:• Experience in the federal government sector• Experience supporting DHS programs or initiatives• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts is a plus• Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.• Additional training or education in area of specialization.
