Position Introduction

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for aiding in support of various Human Resources functions, and they will be responsible for ensuring that all HR related administrative duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner, and act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries.

Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for Human Resource visitors including faculty, staff and the public, and performs a variety of human resources administrative and support functions. This position will assist the Human Resources department with special projects as directed.

The Human Resources Coordinator will perform other functions to main personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by displaying a positive team approach to all Human Resources efforts by offering to assist other HR team members and maintain working relationships with other department, and recommending improvements in work flow, procedures, equipment and forms.

Minimum QualificationsA minimum of two years of administrative experience is required. Previous work experience working in a Human Resources or a related field or previous Human Resources experience is preferred.High School Diploma required.Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ability tol earn and master new systems and software.Ability to multi-task under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations.Requires the interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to interact effectively with management, staff and outside contacts.Requires the ability to pay close attention to details, work independently, organize and prioritize multiple projects, meet multiple deadlines and follow schedules.Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibits discretion and sound judgment in decisions and responses to questions and requests for information.

Schedule

40 Hours/ 12 Months/ Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00
