Willing to consider any experience level!Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProduce models and drawings for major heavy civil projects from construction plans, sketches, or notes to provide submittal documents, engineering support, and general project visualization.Build concrete and steel structures with embeds and components to resolve conflicts early and assist in the planning process.Use CAD/BIM programs to provide means and methods analysis and quantity takeoffs.Work with georeferenced models to provide and document data with survey teams. Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from the survey.Work with existing and proposed topographical data to visualize construction sites and provide cut/fill analysis for temporary and final site works.Finish and distribute drawings and documentation packages in accordance with all specifications and guidelines set forth by the project teamReview rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure that they conform to design conceptsProvide visuals for proposals, including, but not limited to, renderings, general animations, and 4D model animations (model + schedule).Generate and help maintain tools, resources, and standards for use within the CAD/BIM/VDC team and for the project and estimating teams.Work with point clouds produced by both LIDAR and drone surveys.Generate material lists with accurate descriptions, piece marks, and quantitiesAssist in the development of the CAD/BIM/VDC group by researching and experimenting with new tools and software.Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Experience with Bentley and/or Trimble software will also be strongly considered.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawing, and modelsKnowledge of general math and geometry.Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
