Controller with experience at large non-profit organization is needed in the Sacramento area. This is a great opportunity to join a strong effort to assist others in the community and be a part of a growing organization. This is a full time, 40-hr position and long term contract with a possible temp to hire, full time opportunity with excellent benefits.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities:
Expert-level analytical, written, math and computer skills.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Background with cash management, expenditure and disbursement requirements regarding funding Terms and Conditions and Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG); laws CFR 200, and regulations.
Knowledge of reporting requirements relating to fiscal management in nonprofit organizations and Government Fund Accounting
Knowledge of budgetary preparation and financial forecasting
Ability to manage, lead, coach, develop and evaluate staff performance.
Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
Experienced with leadership and management skills
Advanced planning and organizational skills
