Mid-level Cyber/Data/Privacy Attorney

A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-level Cyber/Data/Privacy Attorney with 4-6 years of experience, focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues and/or defending data privacy and security class actions. The candidate will play a key role in handling litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, possess the ability to engage directly with clients, lead significant projects, exhibit general tech fluency, and showcase impeccable analytical and writing skills.Duties:Focus on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security matters.Handle cases involving consumer protection issues, such as State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies.Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and data breach class actions.Engage directly with clients and take a leadership role in significant projects.Requirements:4-6 years of experience focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues and/or defending data privacy and security class actions.High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school.Certifications:Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or privacy law (preferred but not mandatory).Skills:Impeccable analytical and writing skills.Ability to engage directly with clients.Leadership skills for managing significant projects.Strong understanding of regulatory investigations and litigation involving privacy and data security matters.Benefits:
