The Department of Radiology, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Neuroradiology at the rank of Assistant Professor.
This faculty position will include clinical duties, teaching, and academic research. Breakdown of duties will be dependent on the track the faculty member is hired. Clinical duties will include all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology and head and neck radiology including, but not exclusive to CT, MRI, ultrasound and myelography. Call responsibilities will be defined by staffing levels and will be assigned by the section chief. Teaching assignments include medical student, resident, fellow and other department trainees as appropriate.The section provides excellence in patient care in an environment that is collegial, attentive to needs and adaptable to change. We provide an optimal environment for the education of our trainees, staff, and healthcare professionals through scholarly conferences, tumor board conferences and continuing education programs.
