KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather data from various sources/databases to compile a variety of intelligence briefings on company/financial/private equity firm profiles and biographical dossiersEngage in comprehensive research of the Firm’s transactions across a wide breadth of industries, geographies and transaction types using a variety of internal and external resourcesAccurately capture and maintain comprehensive transaction deals in the Firm’s experience databaseRefine and curate core materials related to specific industries, practice descriptions and representative experienceConduct competitive intelligence and benchmarking research within an industry or among peer firmsMaintain and update content in the firm’s databaseMaintain data in the firm’s CRM systemAssist the Regulatory BD team with compiling directory submissions, including Chambers, Legal 500 and GCRLiaise with Events team to assist with internal and external events, seminars, webinars and sponsorshipsWork with all functions of the greater Business Development & Marketing team, including Operations, Development, Systems, Communications and Competitive IntelligenceREQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environmentBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, liberal arts or related field requiredPractice group experience in Regulations is highly desirableIdeal candidate will have familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Preqin and ReutersExcellent time management, organizational and problem solving skillsStrong computer skills with various Microsoft programs, CRM and research tools
