About usPhoenix Sports Partners is looking for an established Baseball business development manager to represent our portfolio companies, Monsterful and Vizual Edge into all levels of baseball.Monsterful RibeeVR is a baseball focused Virtual Reality training technology where hitters at all levels from youth players through high school, NCAA and Pro’s benefit from taking virtual reps against skill and age matched live pitchers. Players can practice anywhere and anytime without the space typically needed for live hitting drills.Vizual Edge is a market leader in visual performance assessment and training using a web-based platform, the Edge Trainer. Vision skills are an often-forgotten aspect in training developing and premier athletes. The Edge Trainer was developed to train and enhance an individual’s core six visual skills, which has been proven to give athletes a competitive advantage through heightened overall vision.
Numerous MLB, College and Youth organizations utilize Vizual Edge daily.Business Development ManagerBusiness Development Manager is responsible for prospecting and directly engaging Baseball Academies, Travel Baseball Organizations, Baseball hitting instructors, High Schools, Colleges and MLB organizationsAbility to quickly identify decision makers, position Monsterful and Vizual Edge value proposition and convert salesCreate Marketing campaigns and measure conversion effectivenessIdentify, engage and recruit market access partners, such as tournament and showcase event organizersResponsible for baseball sales targets at all levels (professional, collegiate, amateur, youth)Work closely with Monsterful & Vizual Edge Operations and Technical organization to identify product enhancements and roadmap prioritiesWork closely with active clients to ensure high level customer experienceRepresent Monsterful & Vizual Edge at key baseball events (ABCA, P15, Perfect Game, etc…), conferences, industry tradeshows and other promotional events.Industry Expertise and QualificationsStrong baseball background required, either played and/or coached at the college/professional level or significant experience in the baseball industryBrings current relationships with clients relevant to Monsterful & Vizual EdgePrevious Business Development or Sales experienceSupport marketing team with relevant case studies and product testimonialsAbility to travel as well as work weekends and weeknights if necessary, to engage target clients
