We're supporting the U.S. federal government partner, Client Board (System) (FRB) in Washington, DC!! Our client FRB is sponsoring and providing a new Public Trust Clearance in this role. They're seeking a remote Workday HCM Consultant with a completed bachelor's degree and 7+ years' experience leading Workday HCM planning, implementation, configuration, design, deployment, and testing of Workday Feature Releases. FRB understands there are bi-annual Workday HCM releases each year, and they're approaching the next release of Workday on September 16, 2024. We're seeking a consultant with strong hands-on design experience in Workday ERP architecture and how the HCM module integrates within a legacy system involving HR and payroll data. Additionally, we're seeking a consultant to perform Workday HCM Administration and leading ERP upgrades. The Senior Workday HCM Consultant would lead an Agile/SCRUM implementation team of five Developers migrating data from legacy systems into Workday HCM. Our client FRB is seeking a consultant with experience using Gantt Charts within MS Project software. The Senior Workday HCM Consultant would monitor Agile/SCRUM iterations for successful data implementations of Workday systems through Gantt Charts in MS Project. This is a remote 8-month contract (w/ possible) extension, starting April 8, 2024!!

The two-step interview process (on two separate days) begins with a regular phone call from FRB's HR Dept., then you would perform a final MS Teams video interview with FRB's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and two Project Managers. An offer letter is anticipated by March 25 to start the remote position on April 8, 2024.

The max C2C rate is $64/hour (NON-NEGOTIABLE).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Workday Feature Release Management and Operational Support BACKGROUND: The Planning, Governance, and Innovation department in Technology Services of the Division of Management propose to engage a Contractor to provide support for Workday. The Contractor will deliver expertise in HCM Module within Workday. The Contractor will be expected to support the planning, implementation, configuration, design, deployment, and testing of Workday Feature Releases, which occur twice annually. In addition, the resource will also help support operational tasks including providing backlog support and assistance with critical operational issues as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall have demonstrated experience in the following: - At least 7 Years' experience in the following: implementing and configure Workday solutions, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying business requirements across multiple Workday module(s) - Hands on experience with Workday configurations - At least 7 years of experience with assessing, implementing, and testing Workday Feature Releases, enhancements, updates. - Possess clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication for test and change related documentation. - Work independently and meet deadlines for assigned tasks. - Simultaneously works on several complex assignments, some requiring collaboration with external groups. - Possess strong analytical and research skills. - At least 7 years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Workday HCM upgrade experience. - 7 years of industry knowledge in HCM Administration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Understand the Board's ERP architecture and how Workday integrates within the system. - Assist with planning and executing regression testing for each Workday Feature Release. - Assist as needed with Workday scrum teams. - Support peer reviews on changes made by developers. - Understand operational requirements and assist with providing support as needed with design, build, and test. - Provide insight to your functional area from your product and industry knowledge. - Review implementation of defined processes for Workday, record findings and make recommendations for changes to those processes, as needed. - Review the operational defects or errors and provide scrum team support for remediation. - Support transition to automated testing solution once identified.

Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following: Thoroughly assess all existing Workday configuration and artifacts. Document findings and recommendations to scrum and QA team. Provide recommendations, develop action plans, and help implement capabilities to improve Workday Feature Release management. Provide assessment and impact analysis of Workday feature releases relevant to Board's configuration. Support for operational issues and enhancements to Workday.
