The mission of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is to protect the integrity of HHS programs, as well as the health and welfare of beneficiaries served by those programs. This statutory mission is carried out through a nationwide network of audits, investigations, and inspections. By conducting independent and objective audits, evaluations, and investigations, OIG provides timely, useful, and reliable information to Department officials, the Administration, Congress, and the public. This program objective is to deliver a new complaint and case management and collaboration tool that will meet industry performance standards, offer the necessary redundancy and contingency features to meet OI's needs, and provide state-of-the-art technology enhancements to improve user experience and minimize service disruption.The Project Analyst:Prepares, analyzes and maintains project materials using appropriate project planning tools. Participates in meetings documenting content for project plans. Follows-up with appropriate project manager. Assists with project status reporting and risk and issues maintenance. Prepares and analyzes reports, charts and graphs, and summarizes variance between the plan and actual progress. Assembles resource capacity and staffing planning data. Prepares and issues project communications and maintains project distribution lists, as well as schedules meetings, prepares agendas and records meeting minutes. Ensures that all key project work materials and deliverables are stored and organized into a central electronic file. Contacts project team members regarding documents as required. Establishes and maintains a project log to record issues and monitors resolution of each issue. Also establishes, communicates and maintains project risk assessments and mitigation plans. The first three duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job. Essential functions are those job duties that must be performed in order for the job to be accomplished.Qualifications

Experience in Project Support Activities, triage and problem solving techniques and experience with CRM systems preferred. Knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools preferred. Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, graphics and database software required. Basic knowledge of project management processes and change management concepts preferred.Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management information systems, project management, or related field; or Associates degree in business, finance, management information systems, project management, or related field and two years related project support experience; or High school diploma or GED and four years related project support experienceMust pass ISN pre-employment screening, undergo government suitability investigation, and be approved by customer for performance on contract.Additional Information
