- This role is dedicated to increasing sales and market share through effective relationship building and lead generation with potential prospect and existing customers. The individual is to be ambitious, energetic, talented person who is to lead our team, impress our customers, and drive our continued growth.
The National Contract Sales Director is responsible and accountable for:
Advise and report to the VP of SalesEstablish productive and effective relationships with GC key personnelNegotiate and close projects with General ContractorsWork closely with GC's, Vendors and Sales staff to develop project specific bid strategiesGrowth of General Contractor business unit opportunities across the platformLead platform wide sales efforts to achieve sales targetsAssist with research, develop and implement strategies to expand the market shareCreate business plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targetsParticipate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reportingProvide regular and timely observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reportingManage forecast accuracy and align with Production DepartmentLiaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growthSupports additional projects and accounts as neededTravel for customer visits and trade shows as neededEvaluate performances of the sales team. Coach, mentor, and develop staffEnsure sales team have the necessary resources to performMonitor and report the achievement of sales objectivesExperience & Other Requirements
Customer focusedAvailability to travel as neededExcellent written and oral communication/presentation abilitiesStrong technical product knowledge & sales skills in Commercial Door/Frame/Hardware CSI Division 8 and/or 10Ability to multi-task as several projects will be running simultaneouslyExperience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Comsense is highly desirableA seasoned background in Commercial Door/Frame/Hardware CSI Division 8 and/or 10 is preferredBachelor's (Preferred)
