Description:Job Description:The Sales Account Manager leads and coordinates all commercial activities for assigned automotive accounts of the Engineered Plastics business entity for the Automotive/Mobility Industry. This is a residence-based role in East Michigan or Northern Ohio.

Account coverage area: US North East - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:Establish and manage pricing on a quarterly basis or per commercial agreement.Maximize margin, grow profitability absolute $Identifies and maps key decision makers in customer's value chainBuilds, maintains, and develops relationships with the key decision makers and influencersListens to and understands the account's current and future (and value chain partners) specific needs as well as its position in the value chain and industryDevelops account 3-5 years account plans in line with industry, application and product strategyCommunicates the account plans with internal supportive functionsAchieve account target or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Coordinates activities with support functions: Market Development, Application Development, Product Technology, Customer ServiceMonitors and manages the customers project pipeline and document in CRM (Customer Relationship management) System

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience or MBA/Master's Degree with 4 years of experience4 years' experience in sales of Plastic Injection molding products to Tier 1 of the Automotive industry

Knowledge and Skills:Strong sales capabilities and interpersonal skillsWell-developed technical and sales skills are necessary in order to maintain credibility and respect at these large, multi-national companiesAutomotive Plastic Injection Molding grades sales experience requiredExperience making regular customer visitsThorough knowledge and understanding of internal structure, personnel and capabilities are welcomeAbility to clearly express thoughts and ideas, both orally and written for conducting effective discussions with the accounts and personnelExcellent listening skills are required in order to fully address customer viewpoints and needsEffectively work across matrices and command respect of his/her peer group and the marketplaceAbility to motivate, coach and direct a broad spectrum of people without having direct authority over themAbility/willingness to travel up to 50% - 75% for customer/office visits

Candidate Must Have:
