Job Summary
Sales manager is responsible for customer relations and sales volume within the North Carolina region. The Sales Manager coordinates with the sales team to source new business opportunities, maintain existing customer relationships, identify sales objectives that cultivate and foster new relationships and business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
-Develop business sales strategies to market to and obtain new territory customers and expand network with primary focus on closing modular office and container deals and propose customized solutions for customer needs
-Responsible for qualifying sales leads/opportunities
-Conduct prospecting calls and meetings with potential new customers identified through means such as leads delivered through Salesforce/CRM, referrals, and developed sales strategies
-Effectively communicate Wilmot Modular's value proposition to customers
-Develop and maintain a working relationship with the Inside Sales Administrator, Sales Director, and Sales team
-Grow sales of value-added products (e.g., furniture) and other potential new initiatives
-Proactively manage relationships with customers, and independently drive account needs or problems through resolution
-Enhance the overall customer service experience
-Maintain Point-Of-Contact status for Wilmot Modular customers and work with cross-functional team members to resolve customer issues
-Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics
-Uncover ways to raise brand awareness for Wilmot Modular's product portfolio and gain account intelligence for new/existing accounts
-Effectively utilize Salesforce (CRM) application to document outreach efforts, account management plans, next steps/actions, and leads/opportunity notes
-Communicate delivery needs promptly and accurately to the proper Wilmot employees
-Maintain Compliance in accordance with all policies and procedures, and Wilmot's Core Values
-Additional duties as required
Education & Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
-Minimum 3 years of demonstrated successful sales management experience within leasing business, logistics or construction industry
-Strong proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM
-Proficiency with MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook
-Demonstrated contract negotiating and closing experience
-Strong demonstrated analytical skills
-Professional presentation skills to include PowerPoint & marketing tools, preparing proposals, and public speaking
-Ability to operate efficiently in solo environment - branch startup phase
-Solid industry knowledge to include competitors, manufacturers, current trends
-Proven experience in forecasting & budgeting
-Excellent communicate skills to interact with employees, senior leadership, customers, and stakeholders in person, virtually, and by phone.
-Ability to sit, stand, walk about construction sites and other work environments
-Lifting or pushing 10 to 25 pounds is often required
-Occasional overnight travel required
-Valid driver's license required
