OVERVIEW:

The Pricing Manager role is part of the firm’s leading Finance department and reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis. This role will support all aspects of full life cycle budgeting emphasis on pricing models, matter budgeting/planning, and developing pricing recommendations. This is a highly visible role within the firm, supporting from a strategy, process, and personnel perspective with collaboration amongst the firm’s senior leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define pricing objectives that align to firm’ strategy and generate Pricing Policy GuidelinesSupport the Pricing leadership team in defining and driving pricing strategies for the worldwide firmManage budget creation, monitoring, reporting and reviewResponsible for Client RFP’s requests ensuring that the firm’s financial data is centralized and evaluated for completeness, uniformity, and consistencyOversee matter databases and reporting; develop pricing proposalsExperience with implementing and managing electronic file cabinet for client documentsAnalyze client pricing and effect of pricing adjustments on the profitability of the client for both RFP’s and existing clientsAnalyze and develop software Pricing Models. Experience in generating financial modeling and develop a worldwide profitability modelEnsure pricing compliance and review proposals with senior managementAnalyze partner’s hourly billing rates to ensure compliance with the Firm’s pricing support strategic market pricing decisionsDevelop various approaches to pricing firm wide that include comparables among client, teams, and partners worldwideResponsible for ad hoc financial analyses as requested per the CFO and Director of FinanceExperience working with internal worldwide resources to ensure that the pricing data represents accurate representation of engagement letters and or fee schedules from the clientEngage with Senior Management and Firm Partners to identify key pricing issues for discussion with the Finance CommitteeREQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field required; MBA or JD is a plus6+ years of finance, project management or legal roles within process managementPersonnel management experience within a Finance or Pricing team is preferredStrong exposure to best legal practices within pricing, rates, matter budgeting and planning, and financial analysisStrong financial acumen and familiarity with financial or accounting reconciliationExperience running a variety of statistical models and methods, focusing on forecasting, modeling, and business analyticsStrong MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
