The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a highly motivated

Regional Sales Manager

to join our team in

Midland, Odessa or El Paso, Texas.

In this role, you will manage the West Texas sales territory, ensuring deals are closed and sales targets are achieved by your team of Sales Reps.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:Manage the West Texas sales territory, including overseeing a team of outside Sales RepsEnsure each of your Sales Reps are effectively managing their time, utilizing territory quadrant management and managing CRM activityReviews goals for major sales meetings, and ensure a structured agenda is preparedReview Sales Rep opportunities discussing objections and next steps; understand what deals are closest to closing and focus on removing objections/obstacles to get them closedReview new accounts opened by Sales Reps to ensure all required information is completePartner with team members to monitor progress on Target Major Accounts and determine action plans; support with developing customer accounts to drive market share and team growthHost weekly Team Sales Meetings and provide a Weekly Planner highlighting key topicsReview CRM report card and clean up any issuesReview inventory levels and manage incoming equipmentReview any pending approval quotes for Sales RepsConduct quarterly and annual performance reviewsRequired Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven outside sales experience requiredPrior experience in a sales management capacity strongly preferred, including managing and coaching team membersStrong ability to negotiate tactfully and close dealsAn understanding of financial statementsGoal oriented and motivated to achieve resultsExcellent interpersonal skills and communication skillsA true team player who can also work effectively autonomously and with minimal supervisionStrong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel) and CRM systemsPrevious experience in the material handling equipment industry would be a strong asset, but is not requiredBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredAbility to travel within the region as needed is requiredBenefits & Perks
