The Business Development Assistant is a high-level administrative position that works closely with the Executive VP and Business Development Division at Intelice to help execute the organization’s sales and marketing strategy including generating leads, developing proposals, delivering presentations, and managing clients.

This position will be exposed to all types of businesses and the ways they operate.

The person in this position will engage with all parts of the business from Marketing, Sales, Operations to Accounting and Finance.

The right person will also help guide operational projects and support the Executive VP's work with the Executive and Sales Teams.

Intelice is seeking a high energy, results-oriented, self-starting leader with excellent organization skills, capable of quickly taking control and assisting with needs across the organization.Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesAssist the Executive VP and Business Development Division with their duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to, marketing efforts, quoting and procuring products, as neededAttend any daily, weekly, and/or monthly meetings with Sales Manager and/or EVPTake notes and distribute notes at all client, project and sales meetings.Lead or participate on project teams related to a range of operational mattersDevelop relationships with key operational contacts, both internal and externalPrepare purchase orders for productsResearch the market for the highest quality products at the lowest possible priceCoordinate and organize activities with the accounting, account management, and the service desk departments to ensure proper processes are in placeDocument internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilitiesWork with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoicesArrange for and facilitate proper disposal of retired equipmentAssist with resolve critical issues with any client relationshipsAttend Intelice sponsored industry, charity, or educational eventsKeep up to date on industry related news and technologyUpdate all activities, time sheets, and Sales processes within ConnectWiseCreate meeting agendasWork Closely with Marketing to track leads and setup activities for sales teamTurn in all Sales team monthly activity points and new agreements monthly to Sales Manager.Upload and update as necessary all agreements into ConnectWiseOther duties as assigned by the EVP and/or Executive TeamKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondences and other communications quickly with minimum directionGeneral knowledge of computers and componentsProficient in general office applications, including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environmentAbility to multi-task and adapt to changes quicklyProactive and service-oriented but easy going personalityMature judgment and organization skillsExperience in problem solvingExcellent execution – a perfectionistStrong organizational, presentation, and customer service skillsExcellent understanding of ordering and procurement processesInterpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-careAbility to multi-task and adapt to changes quicklyTyping skills to ensure quick and accurate data entrySelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environmentAbility to perform public speaking and presentations on Intelice Technology products and services.Interpersonal skills, such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-careUnderstanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT servicesTyping skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request detailsAbility to keep up on necessary ongoing industry related training
