We are growing!Subaru South Charlotte is seeking an additional highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Title Clerk. This is a full-time position in the auto industry located in Pineville, North Carolina. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all vehicle titles. This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Controller.
Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $38000.0. per year, paid biweekly. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:- Process all vehicle titles for sold and trade-in vehicles- Verify accuracy of all title and registration information for each transaction- Submit required documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in a timely manner- Communicate with sales and finance departments to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately- Update and maintain title and registration logs and records- Monitor and track vehicle title status for both sales departments- Follow up with customers on outstanding titles and registrations- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred- Knowledge of DMV policies and procedures- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
