Independently maintain existing designs (creating/revising mechanical drawing for process or quality improvements using Solidworks and Autocad). Independently perform finite element analysis using simulations on Solidworks to define the root cause of failed mechanical components. Support production by instructing quality department and shop mechanics on process improvements based on field issues. Support after sales department and field technicians to troubleshoot machines in the field on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Hydraulic and electrical schematics improvements and corrections using AutoCad. 3D hose and harness layout improvements and corrections using Solidworks Routing.REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (foreign equivalent accepted)Experience:Two years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar positionSkills/RequirementsTwo years’ experience:Designing and revising mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD;Drafting new components and creating new assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks;Performing finite element analysis using simulations on SolidWorks;Providing support and instructions to mechanics on the shop;Using INFOR to work on BOM updates and new BOM creations.SolidWorks Routing Piping and Tubing CertificationAll experience, skills and requirements may be gained concurrently.
