Gabelli School of Business (GSB) is one of five professional schools within Roger Williams University that offer students the opportunity to receive an outstanding professional education within the structure of a liberal arts university. The School offers six undergraduate business majors: accounting, economics, finance, international business, management, and marketing, in addition to a 3+1 and 4+1 MBA program. Minors are offered in each of these areas, as well as in data analytics. GSB is accredited by AACBS-International, and its 25 full-time faculty members bring a combination of strong academic credentials and achievements; real-world professional experiences; and international perspectives to its 1000+ full-time undergraduate and small cohort of graduate students. The school also hosts a group of talented and dedicated practitioner faculty. GSB provides a superior learning environment, including experiential learning projects; study abroad opportunities, and faculty-sponsored student research. A signature characteristic of GSB is close student-faculty collaboration in applied projects and faculty-student research, presentations, and publications. The school is looking to grow in programmatic offerings at the graduate level that would bring more students into the graduate school and offer more pathways to the undergraduate students to complete their graduate education.

Job Description:

The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business is seeking adjunct faculty members for all Business disciplines (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management)

for the 2024-2025 academic year and beyond.

We are especially interested in candidates able to teach both Principles level classes, as well as upper division electives. All classes will be held in person, and availability to teach during the day is preferred.

Requirements:

Applicants must have at least an MBA degree and prior teaching and business experience. A PhD or ABD in the relevant field is preferred.At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
