Please note this list is not all-inclusive, as well as exceptions to these rules may apply for certain departments.JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities:The Floor Technician is responsible for, under the supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager, maintaining clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Operate various types of cleaning equipment used for floor care and maintenance such as scrubbers, burnishing machine, carpet extractors and vacuums cleaners.Handles floor care, stripped and wax, carpet cleaning and shampoo, marble cleaning and polishing, upholstery cleaning. Moving tables and chairs as require.Prioritize and coordinate with other workers as needed to complete floor care work within the overall scope of multi-trade projects.Assist supervisor in the training of new employees in proper floor care methods and procedures.Tags equipment for repairs and advise supervisor.Maintenance and cleaning equipment.Performns Floor Attendant job duties if neededFollows all safety requirements and procedure require for the position.Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent is preferredPrevious cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is preferredExperience in deep cleaning upholstery, carpet care, and waxing floors is preferredExperience using professional commercial pressure washing equipmentMust possess outstanding guest service skillsMust be detail orientedMust have high standards of cleanlinessMust conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida and departmental policies and procedures

Work Environment:Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Employee will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
