The Role
Under the direction of
the Plating Supervisor
, the
Plater Operator
is responsible to plate rolls in order to meet customer requirements, to help the Plating Supervisor with training new Plating Helpers according to the work instructions, and to contain all hazardous waste in proper containers.

Prepare rolls for chrome platingSet plating controls and monitor plating tank temperature and solution levelsInspect rolls for defects before and after platingPerform testing for surface texture and chrome thickness on rollsFill out paperwork completelyPerform crane inspectionMaintain housekeeping of areaAble to work overtime when required#1AndritzWay Core Behaviors
